In the last 4years we have witnessed an upsurge in sexual abuse among ages 3-10 with a number of ages 7 sexually active while ages 8 are hooked on pornography. The devastating effect of this reality puts the future of Africa at risk.
The devastating effect of child sexual abuse include:
- Inability to concentrate at school
- Susceptibility to drug use and other forms of abuse
- pregnancy
- Exposure to illicit sexual practices which increases chances of getting infected with HIV/AIDS
- Other forms of deviant behavior
- Sexual anorexia
OUR OBJECTIVES
- To visit densely populated areas where African kids are mostly susceptible to child sexual abuse and run a sensitization campaign
- To run a pre and post test that helps us fully understand the reality of the kids while we provide on the spot counseling services to children at risk.
- To empower 2 million primary school students with customized Super Kidz guide to checkmating child sexual abuse.
